The Art of Living Foundation's founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is visiting Punjab and Chandigarh from October 18 - 22. Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has declared him state guest during his visit. Desh Bhagat University at Mandi Gobind Garh will be honouring him with a honorary doctorate degree. This was stated by the Art of Living (Ludhiana Chapter) members Sudhir Mahajan, Rajan Mittal and others. The spiritual guru will be visiting Ludhiana on October 21. A mahasatsang is going to be organised at PAU under the banner 'Anand Ki Lehar'. People from all walks of life will be attending this satsang, according to media coordinators Rishi Bhasin and Harveen Sukhija. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will visit Chandigarh on October 18. On October 19, he will visit Sri Anandpur Sahib and address the youth under "Volunteer for Better Punjab" programme. On the same day, he will visit Hoshiarpur to attend a Sant Sammelan hosted by Sant Anup Singh. On October 20, the guru will visit Jalandhar for imparting knowledge under a programme called Gyan Ganga. On the same day, a mahasatsang is being organised at Pathankot in the evening. On October 22, he will be visiting Patiala to address a farmers' rally and a mahasatsang will be organised in Chandigarh in the evening.
