"Sardar Patel has contributed a lot to this country that he is second only to Mahatma Gandhi,' he said. He also lauded the contribution of Patel community to the development of the state. "Wherever I go, I praise Gujarat and its development. Gujarat is number one state in the country. Despite several problems it faced, it overcome all of them and achieved this feat,'' he said.
