New Delhi: Spiritual leader and the Art of Living Foundation head Sri Sri Ravishankar reached the Tihar jail after midnight, on Wednesday, to meet Anna Hazare who is lodged there after his arrest.
"I have come here to meet Anna Hazare", Sri Sri Ravishankar told reporters outside the main gate of the jail well past midnight.

NEW DELHI: Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar strongly endorsed Anna Hazare's crusade for an effective Jan Lokpal Bill, slammed the government for its "arrogant behavior" and pleaded with supporters of the movement to not allow violence to creep in.Speaking to Times Now from his ashram in Bangalore, the spiritual guru said it was "unimaginable" that people's protests were being thwarted by authorities. "People have the right to express opinion and change the law when needed. The government is making one mistake after another, it does not seem to be getting proper advice," he said, referring to the forceful eviction of Baba Ramdev's supporters on June 4 and Congress spokesman Manish Tewari's comment on Anna "being steeped in corruption from head to toe". "This is all causing anger in the minds of people. There is total miscalculation and mismanagement," he said.
