As Sri Sri celebrates his 57th birthday this May 13th, it is a time for many around the world to pause and reflect.
Since 1981, Sri Sri has been working towards a vision : a stress-free, violence-free world. He has once said: "I have a crazy idea... a world without violence. This may appear to be hoping for Utopia but we need to dream and we will get there."
What appears to be utopian is now a deep desire of thousands of volunteers around the world who have been touched by Sri Sri's philosophy and vision.
To paint a vision is one thing. To actually drive it with all your energies is another. This is what Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has been doing for over 31 years.
On May 13th 2013, this spirit of celebration will resound in many Art of Living centres in 152 countries on the world map.
